Modern Tao

I studied business and psychology. I ran an investment club that outperformed the market. I got invited to have lunch with Warren Buffett. By most definitions, things were going well.

In 2017, my graduation thesis proposed an AI application to connect people globally. That same year, energised by the Buffett encounter, I founded my first blockchain startup in Los Angeles. I was 22 and convinced the digitalization of assets was not a question of "if" but "when."

In the eyes of everyone around me, I was doing great. I was supposed to be happy. And maybe at times I was. But I was not fulfilled. So I left Los Angeles and kept searching.

By 2019 I had started my own consulting firm. Work brought me to Spain. Lockdown kept me there. I went on to advise companies with a combined valuation exceeding $6 billion, including Avalanche, Polkadot, and Dextools. I built a network of global business leaders. And that is when I began to realise something that changed everything.

The people I admired most were not just sharp at business. They had done the inner work. They read widely. They sat in silence. They asked harder questions than "how do I reach my goals?" So I started recording those conversations. That became Modern Tao.
